Terms and Conditions
Ordering and Payment: You may place your order to me via the online shop, email, letter, or telephone.
The preferred online payment method for goods is Paypal. I also accept direct bank transfer, and UK cheque, but I require the cheque to clear before I post the items purchased. Paying by cheque will therefore delay your item being posted.
Please note, you do not have to have a Paypal account in order to pay using their service.
Shipping: My intention is to post your order within 24 hours of completing the transaction, and I will inform you of when I have sent it. Should there be any reason why this cannot take place (I’m just recalling the night I broke my leg) I will let you know immediately, and make sure the item is sent asap.
I will keep the receipt proving that the item has been posted, please make sure that your address and postcode are completely accurate in order to avoid unnecessary delays.
Renumeration or replacement will be dealt with once 21 days from posting the package have elapsed, but of course I will be as helpful as possible in rectifying any issue. EU law requires that I also refund the outward postage that you have paid.
Pricing: Should there be any change necessary in pricing due to increased cost of basic materials used in the production of goods available here, or due to error, I reserve the right to do so without notice.
Commissions: I am not currently taking on commissions, this may change in the future. Commissioned work starts at £15 (not including postage and packing) an advance deposit of £15 is required, and if goods are not collected/paid for within 7 days of notification of completion (unless otherwise agreed) they will be put up for sale online or at fairs.
The cooling off period and right to cancel do not cover contracts for goods made to your specification (custom-made).
Description of Goods: I do my utmost to accurately describe the items for sale, and attempt to take the best photographs of my work possible in order to help you to decide what you wish to purchase. Computer screens are not all the same, so resolution and colour rendering of monitors need to be taken into consideration.
Returns and Your Right to Cancel: I hope that you don’t want (or need) to return anything purchased from me, however, if you are not completely satisfied I will refund the cost of the item (and outgoing postage) or exchange the item.
If you decide to return the item, you must inform me of this in writing within 7 days of receipt of goods. I am not obliged to pay the postage costs incurred for the return postage. Goods should be returned, as new, and in original packaging. I am legally entitled a period of 28 days in which to process refunds.
Privacy: I am committed to protecting your privacy. All information will be collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
The information given at the time of ordering will be used only by me and will not be distributed to any other companies or individuals.
I will only use your information for the following purposes.
1. To process your order or for the return of goods requested by you.
2. To keep you informed about new designs, offers and upcoming events.
If you do not wish to receive this information, please contact me and request that your name be removed from the mailing list.

All my beads are kiln annealed for strength and durability. I would not knowingly send out a technically imperfect bead. I would like to have happy customers and will endeavour to do what I can in order to achieve this.
